MMHP’s work and reach is greatly enhanced by our volunteers. Last year our amazing volunteers contributed over 700 hours! Getting involved with MMHP not only results in mobile unit vists or food being distributed, but it builds stronger relationships between local communities and the farmworkers who are living and working in their own backyards. Our volunteer needs are just as diverse as the farmworker population in Maine, whether you are a physician interested in providing care, a Kreyol speaker hoping to use your language skills, or someone who wants to organize a game night to combat social isolation- all are needed.
