On Friday, April 20th, Maine Migrant Health Program is teaming up with SPACE Gallery for a screening of the film, The Harvest/La Cosecha. This screening is part of SPACE’s, FOOD+FARM 2012 series. All are invited to see this film to learn more about child labor and agriculture in the United States. The documentary provides an intimate glimpse into the lives of three adolescent farmworkers as they work 12-14 hours a day, 7 days a week to feed America. A discussion will follow the film.
